MEGAMAN was NEVER listed on!...WHAT GIVES? thats a really good Nintendo Classic!, I really do recommend a small suite from megaman 1 O_O! AT LEAST!

Megaman 1: Bomb man stage.
Megaman 2: Air man stage.

I disagree with a good amount of music requests here (do we really need even more WoW?), but I agree with this topic when it comes to Megaman. Megaman is an icon of gaming and the same goes for its music. With additions like Conan and Bioshock, it's surprising to not see Megaman. Until the previous poster put up that last vid, I thought an orchestra would never work with Megaman.

Megaman 2. Dr Wily stage 1/2. However you decide to do it. That's all we need.

me and a friend were thinking the same thing when we went to the NY show this past Sat. night. We were hoping for some megaman 2 music which we think (in our opinion) has the best soundtrack.

i vote yay for megaman music!

Its possible to bring megaman to the concert its just the amount of requests needed and can it be perform. SOmeone mention its just a rock piece thing but i kinda disagree!.......I still think its possible to try and perform it for the audience..its also the only music piece everyone knows.

Totally agree with this suggestion. Megaman is an icon in videogame history. He has appeared in a lot of diferent platforms and the games and music are quite good in average. I personally would throw into a medley (or as separete tracks) the following five themes:

1: Megaman 2 - Dr. Willy's stage 1 (possibly the best theme of the original saga)
2: Megaman 2 - Airman stage (another wonderfull one)
3: Megaman 3 - Topman stage
4: Megaman X1 - Storm Eagle stage
5: Rockman The Power Fighters - Protoman ending theme (just great)

I agree man. I just saw the show tonight in Toronto and it was awesome, but I can't believe there was no Megaman music! We need some Dr. Wily Theme and Airman.

Megaman was never listed ?! I'm actually kinda shocked by that... It should be one of those mandatory games to be featured like Sonic or Mario.

For me, there are three games of the serie that marked me:

X3
X4
X8

I hope to see some theme of them in some presentation, or medleys. But the theme of the Crystal phase on X3, with that amethist stones in the background was wonderful to me.

Agreed! Mega Man is music badly needed in the VGL repetoire. Mega Man 2 all of Dr. Wily's stage would be a great addition!

Totally agree with this thread. How there is not a single track from Mega Man in this concert is beyond me. Music from Mega Man 1-3 would be very recognizable. And obviously like it's been said Dr Wily's stages from said games would be great (MM3 Dr Willy Stage 3, GREAT song)

VIDEO GAMES LIVE IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON A MEGAMAN SEGMENT!!!!!!!!

Yep! After MANY MANY requests I have finally starting putting together and arrangement. It was the number one requested segment behind Metroid... and now that we have Metroid... MegaMan is next!

The segment can only be around 4-5 minutes so it's been tough trying to figure out the exact arrangement. But here's what I'm leaning towards..

MegaMan 2 - Intro, Title, Wily Stage 1-2
MegaMan 3 - Title

Also thinking about Woodman from MegaMan 2... but if so, may need to cut one of the others out.. which would be impossible!!

p.s. Other segments at the top of my list... Pac-Man, Shadow of the Colossus, Street Fighter II, Earthworm Jim and Chrono Cross/Trigger.

The good news is... Everytime you go to see VGL there will be brand new content you've never seen!! :)

I'm overflowing with happiness. This really made my day.
I've always been a fan of Mega Man music, but to think that it'll actually be featured live at VGL is simply overwhelming.
Just some suggestions, themes that I'd love to hear include Mega Man 3: Title, Mega Man 2: Wily Stage, and any themes from the original Mega Man.
This is fantastic news, it definately made my day, but I'm positive that it'll please countless others as well.

Perhaps, but saying as much makes you less of a suckup. My neck of the woods will thus get MegaMan music before you. :p

Those would be awesome choices in mega man music. Mega man 2 and 3 were my personal favorites so I'm very happy with those choices. I'm so glad you guys are working it into the lineup. The concert wouldn't be complete witthout mega man music! =D

One thing you can look for is the tildes (~). If they're over the letter a, you're reading Portugeuse. If they're over the letter n, you're reading Spanish.
