I'm a HUGE sucker for the music of Metal Gear Solid, and I would love to hear the Snake Eater theme from MGS3. In the Seattle show you had two solo vocalists sing for other pieces, but it would be AWESOME for a lead female singer to do that theme while the orchestra plays. Add that to the two(?) other MGS songs I heard, along with the guard with the exclamation point live actor, and that would blow my mind.

I suggested this at the show in LA, but I wanted to see other peoples ideas on it,too. I was thinking for Metal Gear Solid, a good song would be The Best Is Yet To Come. It's a vocal feature in Welsh, which would be amazing to hear. I'm curious as to what other people may think. Look it up on youtube if you wanna know what song I'm talking about. I'm typing this just before I leave for work. XD

Hmm... "The Best is Yet to Come" or "Snake Eater"?
Gosh, tough decision there. I'll leave it for others to decide.

I'd say Virtuous Mission, that would be awesome.
Then again, it wasn't only used in MGS3...freakin' Harry Gregson Williams.

Oddly, I really enjoyed "Debriefing" and "Sidecar -Escape from the Fortress-" in addition to "Snake Eater" and the main theme.

Between Snake Eater and The Best is Yet to Come tough choice. One problem that I see with The Best is Yet to Come is most people dont speak Gaelic (is that the language). What i would see is a video montage with the lyrics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWGVRxJOKw8) with cutscenes of the saddest moments like the death of Sniper wolf than happier moments near the end like cutscenes with Meryl and Snake. The second problem is that most people wont like the best is yet to come except true fans like myself so I think that you guys are better with Snake Eater

This is just coming from me as a musician, but I don't think you really need to understand lyrics to enjoy a song. I'm not just saying that because I like "The Best Is Yet To Come" more than "Snake Eater"... But, the way I figure it, why not both? First "The Best Is Yet To Come" and then "Snake Eater", signifying the beginning and the end of the whole career for Snake... Maaaaybe that's just me, but I think it would be a nice addition to the show.
That would make quite the lengthy Metal Gear Solid segment, especially if they kept the Metal Gear Solid 2 theme (And if they didn't, frankly I'd be more than a little disappointed.) While I do love MGS music, I'd rather they use that time for completely different games.
The current segment works for me, but that's just my opinion.

The other option would be to relegate the current segment to a Greatest Hits CD/DVD and build up a new segment from the pieces mentioned! That way you don't lose your MGS2 Theme, but get to celebrate in the awesomeness that is the rest of the music from those games ;p
My 2 pence, anyway!

I think the main theme should be play twice.
One is MGS 3 main theme the other MGS 2 main theme.
It's really different when you listen to it. :D

Yeah, the two themes are different. However, playing it twice is too much. That would make it a 7 minute long segment, and that's taking the place of another segment.

Wow, it really sad.
Perhaps held one international MGS music live ?
With Harry Gregson-Williams maybe ? XD
