I'm honestly surprised no one has mentioned this yet: is there (or are there plans for) a VGL Twitter feed? I visit the website/forums every few days to check whether or not the Nashville and Charlotte concerts for 2010 have had any detail released... but then again, I'm a little excited about VGL. Pushing VGL news to twitter would be a great idea as... well... tech-savvy folks are ALREADY on twitter, but may-or-may-not know much about VGL. Retweets, and @replies would increase the amount of buzz for the concerts and, frankly, the idea of getting an occasional tweet from Tommy T and Jack Wall would be neat for those of us who can't fly from London to Japan to the States, and back again!
If the limiting factor is actually having someone manage the account, I'd be happy to volunteer my time. But regardless as to who's doing the actual maintenance, I know it would be a great assets to VGL in the long run!

Am I alone in thinking this?

Hmm, a VGL twitter feed would be quite interesting, though you'd need someone in the middle of it all tweeting about the developments etc. and by the sheer lack of presence here most of the time, I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't get off the ground!

To be honest, I'm not hugely fussed by such things, as I rarely remember to look at anything on Twitter anyway...

A "backstage" Twitter feed for Tommy or someone else constantly dealing with the tour on a regular basis might be cool. Other than that, though, it doesn't strike me as particularly necessary.

I'm with Brainiac and Myrph on this one. It would be interesting, especially if updated regularly.

However, I don't really see that happening (especially when the website itself isn't updated that frequently). And the fact that I don't bother with Twitter if possible.

As the website itself isn't updated frequently, I think the twitter would be just more tasks on VGL, not really necessary.

There was actually a VGLBrazil twitter (http://twitter.com/vglbrasil), kind of active during the two weeks there were concerts here, but now it's just there.

And for whoever's interested, here are Tommy (http://twitter.com/TommyTallarico)'s and Laura Intravia (http://twitter.com/LauraIntravia)'s twitter.
