When my brother and I went to our first VGL performance in Saskatoon in this year, we were back in the auditorium in time to see the "my childhood in five minutes" clip on screen. There were lots of games that I recognized, and a few that I didn't.

The best moment, though, was when we saw a brief clip from the Duck Tales NES game. My brother almost jumped off the third balcony, he was so excited! We played this game kids, and it seemed like no one else had ever heard of it. Obviously, the guy whose life we were watching had, but in OUR experience, no one!

Took us forever to figure out how to bounce on our cane lol.

Anyway, any of you have a similar experience? Either at the show or elsewhere... like your college roommate turned out to have played the same obscure title or something? Just curious!

I love the Ducktales NES game (and its music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_80PQ543rM)! Actually, IGN put it #10 on their list of the top 100 NES games (http://www.ign.com/top-100-nes-games/index.html) :D
I have plenty of other NES games that don't seem as popular though. One of my favorites is the game Fun House (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AOwLQIVu5k), very loosely based on the late 80s/early 90s game show of the same name. It's really difficult and super addictive! I'm still trying to beat it even though I've repeatedly gotten to the final level.
