IMO, the best system ever created. Here's some stuff I think would be pretty amazing live:

Super Double Dragon (well, really, two that are in here are from the original on NES, but whatev, haha):
-Mission 1
-Mission 3
-Mission 5

Megaman X
- Zero's Theme
-Storm Eagle (especially this one)
-Spark Mandrill
-First Sigma Level (there's a pretty crazy bass line in the backround)

UN Squadron (In all honesty, you could do basically any level from this game. Every song in here is phenomenal, but I'll list the best ones)
-Final Level
-Wolfpack w/ the Boss Theme
-Forest Level

I 2nd the UN Squadron suggestion, best SNES game ever.

And surprisingly enough, not many people know about it. IMO, best side-scroll shooter out there. I'd still play it if my SNES worked :( . Luckily one of my friend's does, hah. But yeah, VGL should play some from that game, even if people don't remember it, the hardcore SNES-ers will, and they're all catchy/fast paced tunes.

Those are good, but how about some love for the music of Chrono Trigger. It was some of the best albeit it simplistic music back in the 16bit gaming days.

Hey, if you're going with Chrono Trigger, you've got to add some Chrono Cross. I don't care what anyone's opinion of the game is - the soundtrack is universally held up as some of Yasunori Mitsuda's finest work. Now, if he'd just get that new version out already...
