costume contest rules?

yeahh I really wanna enter the contest
but i wanna make sure i dont screw up!
my friend also wants to know like some answers to some questions
like are your allowed to enter commissoned costumes?
whats innapropriate and whats not
etc that kind of stuff

The rules are pretty lax - the only thing that I know is forbidden is Projectile Weapons, real or fake, loaded or not. I assume that anything which would get you arrested for indecent exposure is inappropriate, but most of that can be got round by using a bodysuit, therefore not actually exposing. As for commissioned costumes, they should be fine, from what Aktrez posted in another area of the forum.

You are correct.

Any costumes are fine (store bought, commissioned, hand-made whatever). And yeah... big-ass real swords or weapons that fire projectiles are usually forbidden by the venues we play in because of insurance reasons.
