Im going to VGL for my first time when it comes to Salt Lake, And i need some help.

Like the title says i'll be going to video games live for the first time this march :D
But i need some help, i have already asked some of these questions before but i will ask them again.

I want to go in a costume but i don't know whether i come in the costume, or if i change into it somewhere when i get there. And i don't know who to go as, i want to go as either Link or Vaati. Link would be easier but then i need a sword and shield, and i don't know which ones i found on amazon.com would be allowed. If i go as Vaati i would need to put makeup on my face to get the right skin color (so if i have to change at the place i couldn't go as vaati). And is there time to change out of the costume before the show, or do i stay in the costume for the hole event?

Thats the main stuff i need to know, please help :p


Oh and is it possible to get autographs there? ^^' (also sens my bro and sis can't go i want to get them Jack Walls autograph because there big Mist fans)

Well, when I cosplay, I usually stay in my costume for the whole day. You should see the look on people's faces when I enter the bus dressed up as Kakashi.

But that's only if you're not at all shy

You can come as you are and change into your costume there, if you wish, just keep decency laws in mind and change in the restroom! ;)

Also, yes, there's an autograph table that various VG composers (including Jack Wall) will sign autographs at. You'll most likely see Tommy going around taking care of merch tables and greeting fans along the way before the show.

If you want Jack Wall's autograph make sure your there early. I got to VGL pretty late(like maybe an hour or less before show time) and Jack had already left to get ready. :(

The show itself starts at 8 PM, but the costume and other events will start 2 or so hours before the show starts.

Well, I heard there were all kind of activities like arcade gaming and contests with games. I don't know how long before the show that starts. If it takes place in 2 hours before the show, I might have not enough time to do all of it :(

I've decided to go as link after all, now i have the sword and shield problem..I don't know which ones on amazon.com would be allowed there.
