Just to let you know, you will definitely hear the Main Theme from the Legend of Zelda (how could they not play it?). Advent Rising is a stretch (it hasn't been performed in a while, but it is entirely possible that it could be performed at your show).

As for the other suggestions, I'm afraid you probably won't be hearing them at your show, since many of those pieces haven't even been selected for rotation in the VGL lists. Super Smash is a segment that's currently in the works, but it's unlikely that it will be ready by that show date (I do believe Tommy has said that it won't even be worked on until next year), while Sonic may be performed, although not the music from Adventure 1 and 2.

Thumbs up Re: Suggestions/requests for the Lisbon, Portugal concert on 27/11/2009

TY, Terraguy

I'll keep updating, even if the musics have a slim chance of being preformed, they can always be used as a suggestion for future shows.

Cheers

Well, here are my suggestions. Most of the are actually wishful thinking but anyway...

Outcast - Main Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6My91_062cU)

Dragon Age - Ferelden At War (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnH8O-9FidY) And yes, I know the game has only just come out but still, its epicness is undeniable.

Baten Kaitos
- Speaking with the Stars (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqi9thiW4vg)

Portal - Still Alive
I know, I know... but I belong to the group who would sing along with it!

Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lF-bR0K508)

The Longest Journey (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTt6Tu-4KDk)

Grim Fandango (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hV1NBHL9Fa4), Full Throttle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj_1s_X3I-0)
Two of Tim Schafer's masterpieces and with unique soundtracks.

Thief (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uR8pcqV_HY)

Jade Empire. It did have a brilliant, oriental-ish soundtrack and since it was Jack who composed it... :3

Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate

Seeing music from these games performed live is nigh of impossible, but they are my two favorite RPGs of all time. No harm in trying :P

Like I have said in a previous post after last year's show...
Give us The Witcher!!!11oneoneeleven

And lets have some Mass Effect as well (listening to the soundtrack atm :P). Was hoping for it last year but it wasn't played. Looking forward to it this year. Don't let us down.

I was going to open a thread like this too, but they are limited to the segments they already have created (which are a lot of them anyway), the only musics not already in their shows that I would like to hear, are super smash (brawl and melee) and okami.

also to the guy that sayed baten kaitos, listen to this one from origins

Hi there, guys.

manelis, as limited they may be, I guess it won't hurt to post here our suggestions. They can always be used as a future reference, being a localized indicator of the will of the crowd. Therefore I believe you should feel free to suggest whatever you would like to listen. And maybe, who knows...

Here's more two suggestions:

Age of Empires:
- Noddinagushpa ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hbTNgbKSqI )

Star Wars The Force Unleashed:
- Main Theme ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcRlkTWIQNc )

Gotta disagree with you there mate ;p Gotta go for the original game! Had the best music by far!!!

Using that track would be awesome! Not actually sure what its actual name is, each place I've looked has had a different name for it, but its an absolutely cracking tune!!

Greetings,

I like the original as well. Here's an idea: why not pick the original one, start with it's subtilness and base the arrangment on it's accords, since it's more complete than the Age of Empires 3's one, and then add the Age of Empires 3's energy. I would also suggest maybe adding some other AoE tunes to the Arragement if Jack and Tommy find fit. I leave the idea to the experts xD

We'd definitely need more tracks than just that one... I just wasn't as fond of the soundtrack for the third game compared to the first two. Besides, if VGL performed it, it would be bursting with energy anyway!

Whether it would be worth including Age of Mythology as well, I'm not sure. I guess it depends on whether you consider it to be part of a general 'Age of' series, or if you consider it separately from the AoE series. Either way it would be incredible to hear something like A Cat Named Mittens (Main Theme), Have You Met Her Thunder (Trailer Soundtrack) or If You Can Use a Doorknob (Victory Theme). Those three are absolutely awesome too!

As for other tracks, I'm not as sure what could be included as its all fairly toned down, background style music, which may not lend itself as successfully to a VGL medley arrangement...
