Default This is pretty epic.

So I was randomly looking around on youtube, and I managed to come across a video of my high school playing Carmina Burana. All of my friends were telling me how epic this was gonna be, but holy crap. This is a lot more epic than I thought it would be.

Nice performance! Yeah, there are a lot of really classic pieces not from cinema or games that are actually very thrilling. One of my personal favourites would be Shostakovich who pretty much laid down the groundwork for composers like John Williams who've adapted to this style for Hollywood.

Sound and video aren't synchronous, but you'll be blown away nontheless: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZtscG0jvXA

I know. Kind of makes me wish I practiced more when I was at that high school so I could've have been in the top orchestra that actually plays that stuff.

Woah, that is really awesome! Sounds like a professional orchestra, especially since it's a high school (although it is a performing arts school )

I'm such a dork... when they were using this piece of music for a dance performance at my school once, I was picking out all the lyrics that were used in One Winged Angel
