Is anyone here getting one? I've pre-ordered one, but it's going to be for someones birthday gift so that leaves me out of the picture.

This news is a bit old, but for those who live in the UK and are in Club Nintendo if you register you 3DS you can get an AR shirt; however you need to be one of the first 3,000 people who do so. Here's the article

Then there's also the midnight releases from GameStop and Best Buy; a lot more will be happening at New York's pre-launch event such as the attendance of Reggie Fils-Aime.

I've preordered my 3DS... It was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, but because noone was around when the delivery was to be made, I have to wait until Monday before I can actually get my hands on it, sadly...

Still, gives me a few more days to play Pokemon Black before my attention is diverted elsewhere!

I have to say, that's one launch event I'm not even about to try to go to. It gets crazy enough when they do regular game release parties at Nintendo World (and I know this is Best Buy, but still), and I can just imagine how insane it'll be for a major system release O_O

I love Pokemon Black (and since I'm not getting a 3DS just yet, I'll be playing it for awhile)! I'm even beginning to love a lot of the new Pokemon, considering I wasn't too sure I would when I first saw the pics... I like some of them even more than many from Gen 4.

I think this is what you meant - I have to say, that's one launch event I've been dreaming to go to; I'd be crazy not to attend one! Not only will I go to Best Buy, but every other midnight and early opening events! Because it's a major system release I can only imagine how insanely awesome it will be!

It seems you're not the only one in the UK Myrph having problems with getting their 3DS.
