I loved the fact you guys came here.
Funny thing is I knew one the people who was one of the upper people of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. I had him as a college professor. I remember at first trying to do a report on the rise of video game music in 2005. He almost didn't let me do it saying it wasn't really an area until gave him a sample of the music of the industry. I mainly used to orchestrated albums to show him it was a legitimate genre and it would be huge that they maybe make a show out of this for their season. Needless to say, I got an A
At the time you guys weren't really huge yet, but the Dear Friends tour was seeming like it was going to gear up for a massive tour that crumbled. I was trying to convince them that maybe doing a show like this would be in their best interest. He told me they wanted to stick to the classics to legitimize themselves again because they played a lot of "pop" shows lately. I told him he doesn't know what he's missing out on.
I didn't see him at the show, but he still was on the website listed as one of the people there in the same position. I so wanted to leave a I told you so e-mail, but I think it would be a moot point. He opened his eyes up and had you guys come.
I'm sure they'd have you again after seeing the Henderson Pavilion filled up more so than any show I've been to there before.
