Just so you guys are aware, I'm starting my first day at university tomorrow, moving into student accommodation ready to start learning beginning of next week. What this means with regards to you lot on the forums is that I won't be around as frequently as I usually am to keep my eye on you. This isn't to say that I'm giving you free reign to simply run amok, instead to emphasize the importance of using the report button if something goes awry.
I'm not going to be able to monitor everything that happens here, so I need all of you who are regulars here, who know the day to day runnings of the place and the way things should flow, to keep an eye on things and if something looks wrong or out of place or in need of moderation, either send me a PM with a link to the thread and a brief message outlining your interpretation, or hit the little red triangular report button above the offending post. I will try to read my emails at least once a day whilst I'm 'on hiatus' so that I can pop in if something comes up that requires my attention.
If there are any questions or general enquiries (not mod/admin stuff), direct them towards our 3 postmonkeys: Swish, Terraguy and Brainiac. They've been here longer than me, and (in theory) know just as much about things round here as I do, if not slightly more between the three of them, so they should be able to cover most of the things I would otherwise do. Besides, they need their egos polishing every so often, so doing this probably won't hurt them too much
Y'all have fun here, use the new forums to as full an extent as you can, place nicely with each other and I'll see you all again when things have started to settle down a little!
