Default Sonic the hedgehog suite

This isn't much of a suggestion for new music but I thought I might as well ask, based on personal taste alone, for a slight change in the sonic suite. On bar 56 ( how I know the bar, don't ask) I liked the lick the drum set played from the original arrangement in the early years of VGL, with the eighth note on snare, two 16ths going down on the toms, ending on the crash cymb. and bass drum. I like the new additions to the percussion but I always thought that part was especially powerful with the bass instruments on the intro to marble zone. I think the drum set played that same tom lick just before starlight as well. I don't know if you guys took that part out or if it is just drowned out by the tamb or something.

for reference, here is a video of the hollywood bowl production where this camera picked up the drum set pretty well. You can hear what I mean at 1:36

...O.o I didn't understand any of that :P But I would like some more Sonic, mostly because a) The recent announcement of Sonic 4 and got me all excited and b) If memory serves correctly, the Sonic medley wasn't played at the last London show

They didn't play it at their last Los Angeles show either. They have so many segments that they can use that when they return to areas and venues they frequent, they try to use more fresh segments rather than ones they have already played several times over their touring years.

Haha yeah, really only Mr. Wall, or Mr T, if he looks at the score, will understand what I meant. Its just a little one bar lick the drum set plays just before Marble zone that I liked better in their original percussion arrangement.

That I understand, but Sonic is a personal favourite of mine. They could'a removed something else :P Then again, that'd leave somebody else disappointed. I guess not everybody can be happy...

You know, I wonder if they'll incorporate something from StH4 now that's it's officially announced.

Hmm, should be interesting to see what the soundtrack for that one is like!

From the short teaser sample of the music they released, I wasn't too impressed...

Where did you find that? I've seen the release trailer, but I don't remember it having any music playing, or if it did, it wasn't anything noticable!

If there is a re-arrangment of the franchise, I hope they use some tracks of Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, like the ones I suggested before.

I fear for StH4, btw. It just don't seem right, at least like that. I believe it deserves more than the trailer shows, although it doesn't show much. But enough for my fears.
