VGL returning to Gen Con Indy??

Hey guys, had a blast at last year's show, and would like an update on if you're coming back for '07. Reason being is that tickets are not cheap and the sooner I know if VGL is going to be there, the sooner I can set a budget for everything else.

Also, one minor complaint about the show last year, and this is personal for me, but probably not for many others. Let me preface this by saying I love Martin, and have been watching his videos online since he released that first blindfolded Mario Bros. video. But, to be honest, the main reason I came to VGL was because I have been wanting, ever since "Dear Friends" was announced, to hear my favorite Final Fantasy music played live in a full concert setting. I thought I was finally going to get my chance while living in Indianapolis this past summer. You can imagine my disappointment when Martin, as the "surprise" guest, was the only Final Fantasy representation at the concert.

I don't want you guys to can Martin, but considering how deep and rich the music of the Final Fantasy series is, perhaps it's best if that particular franchise was left to the symphony, and Martin did some more of my 8/16 bit favorites such as Castlevania.

Wow, you beat me to posting the same topic Eindar. My thoughts exactly; had a blast at the Indy performance (wish I went to both nights). Felt the same about the FF performance.

Right now its still up in the air on which future performance I plan to attend, Fort Wayne Indiana, Columbus Ohio, or possibly Indianapolis if you return here for the next GenCon.

We're still not sure at this point. We're talking to the Indianapolis Symphony and Gen Con really wants to do it again. Just trying to sync up schedules.

If you are going to the Columbus VGL concert, can I come with you guys? I am trying so hard to find a resonable way to get there myself. I hate living in Youngstown, OH because it is so far from everything. I wish you guys the best if I can't make it to that one.

Do you know if you will return to OHIO in the future? That would be awesome!
