Default Silent Hill

Nothing I've seen thus far has mentioned that any tracks from Silent Hill will be included in the show. I did notice Castlevania being mentioned, so obviously Konami games are possible. I unfortunatly missed the show Play! another similar music show to this one. (Btw, this site states that it is the first show of it's kind, but as far as I know, Play was around before this, but I could be wrong)

Anyway, Akira Yamaoka's music is seriously unmatched in my opinion, so it would be nice to hear that there is atleast a possibility that a track from silent hill could be included in the show.

Some of my favorite songs include the original theme song, Silent Hill 2's theme song, Laura's Song, Heads No. 2, You're not here, Room of Angel, and Cradle of Forest

Indeed, you are wrong. PLAY! A Video Game Symphony popped up quite a while after VGL's first Hollywood Bowl show way back when. I remember the old guard forummers discussing it.

I want Silent Hill stuff too. It doesn't lend itself to orchestra very well, but it's just so damn good. I never liked the Emo rock vocal tracks in 3 and 4 though.

So much angst.

I stand corrected, and my expectations foro VGL are raised as well.

Agreed. Silent Hill music, particularly that from Silent Hill 2, would be amazing.

Default Silent Hill Music, Please!!

Hello everybody,

Well, I'm glad I'm not alone wanting Silent Hill music included in the repertoire. My personal choices:

> Silent Hill 1: Silent Hill Theme.
> Silent Hill 1: No Tomorrow (when Lisa Garland dies).
> Silent Hill 2: Theme of Laura (it does lend itself to orchestra, but with serious guitar, a la Castlevania Rock suite in VGL. Just check out the live performance with Akira Yamaoka in YouTube).
> Silent Hill 3: Unhappy Carousel (this one won't be very popular, as it is the background music to the part when Heather has to kill the horses in the Merry-Go-Round).
> Silenth Hill 3:You're not Here (I have no problems with the angst *hehehehe*).

God, I just love this series. I'm anxiously waiting for SH5!

Cheers!
