Video Game Live - Choir Parts
Dear Choir Member,
We are very excited to work with each of you on Video Games Live! In the interest of ensuring the highest quality performances all around the country, we are endeavoring to help you learn the pieces below for the show as easily and as expeditiously as possible. All of these parts have been performed with great success all over the world. We have made minor changes after each performance in an effort to make your lives easier and to limit your questions so that your energies can be focused on the music itself and doing what you do so well!
We have tried to give you an idea of which pieces are easy, moderate or difficult so that you'll know right away which pieces will require the most attention to master.
Below, we have uploaded for most songs: pdfs of the parts (PDF Part), the full mix of the song (Audio Mix), and for some complex pieces, mixes where the choir is very loud (Choir Loud Mix). We have also included in some cases "Pronunciation Guides" for those pieces with Latin, Greek, etc.
The Choir Loud Mixes also include a click track as most of the music will be performed to a click. The reason for this is that all of the video is in sync with the music throughout the show. The choir will not be wearing headphones.
Generally, we like to spend about 45 minutes alone with the choir when we arrive before each first full rehearsal with the orchestra. This gives us a chance to get to know you a bit and give you some final notes before we get into the full orchestra and choir rehearsal.

The order of performance of these pieces is subject to change, and it should be noted that not every piece will be performed in every city. You should have a final setlist printed out and a black book to bind these pieces into for the rehearsals and show. The dress is black for all in the chorus. Long sleeved, collared shirts and black pants for the men. Black dress or black blouse/pants for the women.
