Marc Geiger’s varied career has taken on many facets - concert promoter, talent agent, record company executive, computer whiz, and Internet Revolutionary.  The latter a title he earned in 1994 after his involvement with ARTISTdirect, Inc. Awarded a visiting artist visa by the United States in 2000, Emmanuel Fratianni arrived in Los Angeles to become a sought after conductor, composer, pianist and music team member in the Hollywood film, television, music and video game industries as well as the concert world. An award-winning  composer, his work has been performed by some of the finest and most recorded orchestras in the world, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Heath Marrinan brings over 17 years of experience in the lighting industry to VGL. He joined the team at Theatrical Media Services, a Omaha NE based lighting company, where he was able to start developing his design and programming skills. He has been involved with such acts as Dave Matthews Band, Primus, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Green Day, Switchfoot, Thursday, Blues Travelers, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, among many more. A self taught musician and audio engineer, Matthew Yelton has been working in the music industry his whole professional career.  Although the bulk of his experience can be heard in the form of multiple studio recordings and nearly 2000 live shows with the infamous cult rock hero Frank Black- including the Pixies reunion tour in 2004,  he has also lent his ears to such artists as Maceo Parker, Bootsy Collins, Nancy Wilson (Heart), Midnight Star, Mission of Burma, and The X-Files.

Mike has been involved with live entertainment for over 30 years.  He has provided video services for such varied projects as, Mannheim Steamroller, Jack Johnson, and Berkshire Hathaway.  Previously, Mike held the position of General Manager and Resident Designer of Ballet Omaha.  Mike started his career in theatre.  He stage managed and designed for Sacramento Music Circus, Country Squire Dinner Theatre, Firehouse Theatre and is founder of the Amarillo College Summer Theatre Festival.

Brian’s diverse background in the game audio and record industry began with a collaboration with composer Jack Wall as music implementer on Myst IV: Revelation and (additional music) Rise of the Kasai.  After working with Game Audio Network Guild and top game composer agency, Four Bars Intertainment, Brian composed, recorded and performed over 350 shows with electronic rock band, Mankind Is Obsolete.  In addition, he toured internationally with Metropolis Records industrial act, Dismantled.  Brian is a fan of gaming and game music and currently is Program Director, Host and Producer of Game Music Radio and “The Next Level”. 


The Video Game Pianist aka Martin Leung is an award-winning, globally-recognized pianist and musical pioneer for the 21st century.  Trained classically, he performs standard repertoire and also the emergent music of video games, a successful specialization that has established him early as a soloist trailblazer in the industry.  A 2002 Oberlin International Piano Competition prizewinner, he later soloed at 16 at Carnegie Hall's New York Youth Orchestra Festival and with the Pittsburgh Symphony on From the Top.  He has performed at Electronic Entertainment Expo, Game Developers Conference, and Penny Arcade Expo, among others.  In 2004, a video of Video Game Pianist playing Super Mario songs was premiered on Ebaum's World, a popular joke and humor internet site.  Around 40 million people worldwide saw the video.  The video caught the attention of Tommy Tallarico, who then invited him to be part of the Video Games Live world tour.


 
Laura “Flute Link” Intravia is a combination of performer, composer and arranger. A classically trained musician, she is a graduate of Ithaca College with degrees in Music Composition and Vocal Performance. An experienced composer for many genres, her strengths lie in vocal/choral writing; she received the 2007 Jack Downey Vocal Composition Prize and placed second in the 2008 NYTS Composition Competition. The flute has always been one of Laura’s greatest passions, having served as Piccolo/Second Flute in the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra 2004-2005.


Listeners may rightly hear poetry in Lee Ann Leung’s musical performances. With over 20 years of piano studies and top awards, Lee Ann is also a nationally published poet and certified hospice patient-care volunteer. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa cum laude honors from the University of California at Irvine, with a degree in piano performance, a minor in biological sciences, and a certificate of ethnomusicology. Lee Ann, who has played in masterclasses for such luminaries as Lang Lang, Menahem Pressler, and Claude Frank, made her VGL debut in Houston 2006.


 

Former Marine, turned Architect, turned Stage Manager/Technician.  Eric has worked in the Entertainment Industry for the last 9 years with musical groups like "Mannheim Steamroller", ".38 Special" and "Bugs on Broadway".  Eric has worked with companies such as Home Instead, Con Agra, Berkshire Hathaway, Gallup and the Kennedy Space Center.  Production companies such as Soundtrak, Theatrical Media Services, "Prop This" and Dog and Pony Productions have honed this avid gamer and snowboarders stage and video production.



Mikey has worked for Theatrical Media Services since 2001 and has been with Video Games Live since January of 2007.  He has also worked with John Mayer, Alicia Keys, and Mannheim Steamroller among others.  As well as maintaining the lighting rig for the North American shows, he is also the unofficial tour photographer.
